I shot this photograph of Jack Colleran of MOTHS (by way of Newbridge, Ireland) yesterday night. We scheduled this photo shoot last minute and decided to do it right after meeting up in Echo Park. His manager, Jimmy, recommended that we can go to the Echo Park Lake but wasn’t sure if it was open since the lake was getting drained.  It turns out that the lake was closed but we decided to jump the fence surrounding the park anyways. While walking around, my friend Taylor found a mini fire hydrant that was attached to a construction-machine-thingy with a couple zip ties. Jack pulled out his “Hollywood” branded lighter and burned the ties right off. We fucked around with the fire hydrant for a good 5 minutes to get these shots. The street lights gave off a dull orange color that I really like. I also shot a 35mm roll which I’m going to be developing this weekend, more photographs to come.
